Forest in Borneo   The largest of the islands of Asia (and third in the world) is Borneo, the only one to be politically divided between 3 different nations, it is covered by the oldest rainforest on the planet for about half of its surface.

   Most of the biggest Asian islands are located in the eastern and southern area of the continent, Indonesia with 12 islands in the first 32 is the most represented country, immediately afterwards we have the Philippines (7 islands) and Russia (5 islands, of which 4 above the Arctic Circle).

   In Asia there are almost all the most populated islands in the world, starting with Java and Honshu, the only two to host more than 100 million people on their territory.
